Navitas Journey at Google Cloud Next 2025
Last week, Navitas team had the privilege of being part of Google Cloud Next 2025, and wow—what an experience it was.
From the moment we walked into the buzzing conference halls in Las Vegas, you could feel it the hum of conversations, the spark of ideas, and the shared excitement about where cloud and AI are headed. This wasn’t just another tech conference; it felt like a gathering of people who are shaping the future.
Our days were packed. We went from keynotes that made us rethink what’s possible, to fireside chats that challenged how we approach problems, to deep-dive technical sessions where we got our hands on the latest tools. We explored everything from the newest capabilities in Vertex AI and Gen AI Agents to incredible, industry-specific stories of cloud transformation.
But the real magic happened in between the sessions—connecting with customers, partners, vendors, and fellow innovators. These weren’t quick handshakes and business card swaps. We had genuine conversations about real-world challenges, brainstormed ideas for collaboration, and saw opportunities to work together in ways we hadn’t imagined before. Whether we were talking about AI-driven automation in financial services, modernizing enterprise platforms, or unlocking healthcare insights from data, the possibilities felt endless.
And there was this constant reminder: technology alone doesn’t create impact—it’s the people, the community, and the shared vision that make it happen.
Five Moments That Stood Out
There was no shortage of exciting announcements at Next, but here are the five that stuck with me the most:
1. Gemini 2.5 Pro & Flash
Google rolled out Gemini 2.5 Pro, a model built for deep reasoning, and Gemini 2.5 Flash, which is optimized for speed and cost efficiency. Seeing live demos of these in action was eye-opening. I couldn’t help but think about how we could plug these into our projects AI that can not only understand complex scenarios but also respond quickly is a game-changer for things like real-time customer support, intelligent document processing, and decision-making.
2. Ironwood TPUs
Google’s Ironwood TPUs, Google’s latest AI chips offer massive performance boosts at much lower cost. They’re not just faster; they’re more energy-efficient, too. For us, that means being able to train and deploy models at a global scale without blowing through budgets or power.
3. Cloud WAN
Google’s Cloud Wide Area Network gives enterprises access to their private global fiber network. That means faster connections, lower latency, and better uptime all while lowering costs. If you’re running workloads that depend on speed and reliability, this is a huge win.
4. Agentspace & Agent2Agent
Google took a big step into the agentic AI space with Agentspace, the Agent Development Kit, and the Agent2Agent protocol. In simple terms: it’s now easier to build AI agents that talk to each other and work together. We left the sessions buzzing with ideas like building agents that could automate entire business workflows end-to-end.
5. AI Meets Storytelling
One of the most surreal moments of the week was stepping into the Sphere and seeing The Wizard of Oz reimagined with AI-enhanced visuals. It was breathtaking. It reminded me that AI isn’t just about automation or analytics it’s also about creativity, artistry, and human connection.
What We’re Taking Back with Us
When the conference wrapped, we didn’t just leave with notebooks full of session takeaways. We left with a list of experiments to run, people to follow up with, and ideas that could reshape the way we help our clients.
We’re already thinking about:
- How to embed Gemini into our customer solutions.
- Where Ironwood TPUs can accelerate our AI deployments.
- Using Cloud WAN to give our clients faster, more resilient infrastructure.
- Building agentic AI workflows to automate complex processes.
- Bringing more creativity into the way we design solutions.
Google Cloud Next 2025 was a reminder of why we love this work. It’s not just about keeping up with the latest tools, it’s about imagining what’s possible, building it, and seeing it make a difference for real people and real businesses.
Here’s to the future—smarter, faster, and more connected than ever.
